Dr. Seymour grew up in Laurens, SC. After receiving a degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Tech, he attended the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA before completing a Family Medicine residency at Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC. He is board-certified in both Family and Preventative Medicine. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist-Physician by the American Board of Wound Management.
